Customisation Policy

At LEISHI, customisation is approached with care, intention, and respect for people, materials, and the environment. Our products are crafted from natural fibres, and all custom work is designed to honour their integrity while upholding ethical and responsible practices.

Ethical Approach to Customisation

We offer limited customisation options to ensure our values remain uncompromised. Each request is carefully reviewed to confirm it aligns with our ethical standards, sustainability commitments, and material suitability.

Customisation is produced in small quantities and never mass-processed. We avoid unnecessary waste, excessive treatments, or practices that compromise environmental responsibility or fair working conditions.

Materials & Processes

  • Customisations use natural or low-impact materials and inks where possible

  • We do not accept requests requiring plastics, synthetic coatings, or harmful chemical treatments

  • Natural variations in jute and cotton are inherent to the material and are not considered defects

Content Standards (Artwork & Design Approval)

To maintain ethical integrity and brand responsibility, all artwork, text, and designs submitted for customisation must meet LEISHI’s content standards.

We reserve the right to refuse, modify, or decline any customisation request that includes or implies:

  • Offensive, discriminatory, hateful, or abusive language or imagery

  • Content that promotes violence, harassment, or illegal activity

  • Sexually explicit or inappropriate material

  • Political, religious, or extremist messaging

  • Intellectual property infringement (including unlicensed logos, artwork, or copyrighted material)

  • encourages fraud or other illicit activities.

  • defend a criminal conduct or an alleged criminal.

  • Explicit content exploit or abuse children, including, but not limited to, images or depictions of child abuse or sexual abuse, or that present children in a sexual manner.

  • Encourages, promotes, or features animal abuse or cruelty.

  • Encourages, promotes, or supports a terrorist organisation, including their funding and recruitment.

  • Includes information that is false, inaccurate, misleading, tortious, vulgar, obscene, invasive, or otherwise objectionable.

  • Discloses, infringes, or violates the intellectual or industrial property rights of third parties, including, but not limited to, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, rights of publicity, or other personal or proprietary rights.

  • Content that conflicts with LEISHI’s values of inclusivity, sustainability, and respect
     

Approval of artwork is at LEISHI’s sole discretion. Submission of a design does not guarantee acceptance or production.

Custom Orders

By placing a custom order and submitting your design or artwork on this Website, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You confirm you have the legal right, permission, and authority to use, reproduce, and submit the artwork, text, logo, or design provided

  • Your submitted content complies with LEISHI’s Content Standards and ethical principles

  • Submission of artwork does not guarantee approval or production

  • LEISHI reserves the right to review, refuse, modify, or cancel any custom order that does not meet our ethical, sustainability, or content requirements

  • You accept that colours, textures, and placement may vary slightly due to the natural characteristics of jute and cotton fibres

  • Customised products are made to order and cannot be changed or cancelled once production has commenced

  • Authorise us to customise the products on your behalf.

  • Agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claims, damages, or losses arising from the use of your design or artwork.

  • LEISHI is not responsible for verifying intellectual property ownership of submitted designs. Any liability arising from copyright, trademark, or intellectual property infringement remains with the customer.

Production & Lead Times

Customised pieces require additional time to ensure they are produced responsibly and with care. Confirmed lead times will be provided at the time of order.

To minimise waste, all customised items are made to order. Once production has commenced, orders cannot be changed or cancelled.

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the bespoke nature of custom products, customised items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange, however, if the personalized products arrive damaged, faulty, or significantly and materially different from what was requested, the customer may request a refund or a replacement within seven (7) days of delivery. If a customer makes a mistake in the inscription, design, or artwork of a bespoke product, we cannot be held accountable or liable for the refund or replacement.

Minimum Order Quantities & Lead Times (For, Corporate & Wholesale Orders)

  • Minimum order quantities (MOQs) apply to all Corporate & Wholesale custom orders

  • Lead times vary depending on customisation complexity and order volume

  • Production timelines will be confirmed in writing prior to order approval

To minimise waste, all Corporate & Wholesale custom orders are produced to order.
